BT is one of the leading communications companies, serving the broadband, phone, TV and mobile needs of customers in the UK and in more than 170 countries around the World. In addition to telecommunications operations, BT also have a wide range of related products for home and business users.
Aiming to reduce website abandonment and increase revenue through their ecommerce store, BT were in need of a digital campaign to retain potential customers and raise awareness of their mobile service offering.
As part of the campaign, two sets of banner advertisements was deigned; one static and one featuring an interactive product feed. A pop-up intervention was also hosted on the BT shop site that would activate on exit. Users that had added items to their shopping basket and consented to email marketing would receive a retargeting email with the contents of their basket for easy purchase.
